Chafing fuel is a portable heat source consisting of combustible chemicals for warming and keeping food warm. The fuel is commonly housed inside a can with a screw on top, or a flat lid. The two most popular fuel types are methanol and ethanol. Both fuel types provide a clean burn that allow it to be used indoors and outdoors.
